Because why not! With brands introducing face unlock feature on its flagship phones, it was about time that the shift happens on a tablet as well. And Xiaomi might be one of the early adopters to introduce AI-based Face Unlock feature on a tablet. This will not only solve the problem of removing physical fingerprint but will offer more room for a real estate. While we are yet to receive a confirmation on the display specifications, we certainly expect it to sport thin bezels.

As far as the internal specifications go, we already know that it will house a Snapdragon 660 processor and a 6000mAh capacity battery. Further, it is believed to sport a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera setup.

The most recent rumour regarding the RAM and storage includes 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB combination. Plus, expect one variant to be enabled with LTE and one Wi-Fi only. The Mi Pad 4 price might start at 1499 Yuan, which roughly converts to Rs 15,600.
