Even before the launch event, Xiaomi has made its Mi Pad 4 official on its website. The Chinese smartphone maker has been teasing its fourth generation tablet for quite a while and we finally have the official look at specifications and design. It is touted as the first Android tablet to sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor, which makes it a powerful tablet in its class. The first sale for the tablet goes live on June 29.
Mi Pad 4 Specifications
Sporting an 8-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and 1200:1 contrast ratio. This display comes with various modes including eye mode, standard mode, enhanced mode, adaptive mode, and more. Accompanying the SD660 processor is optional RAM and storage support. You can either opt for a 3GB/32GB model or a 4GB/64GB model.
In the camera department, you’d find a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, HDR, 1080p at 30fps recording support. There is a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, HDR, beautify, and face recognition support. In terms of connectivity, it will be supporting 4G LTE and Bluetooth 5.0.
You’d be surprised to know that Xiaomi has introduced USB Type-C port on its new tablet. The Mi Pad 4 packs a massive 6000 mAh capacity battery, which shall offer good battery life as claimed by the brand. As teased, it will be sporting features like AI face unlock, and a smart game acceleration mode for a better gaming experience.
As far as the pricing is concerned, it will be retailing at 1099 Yuan (approximately Rs 11,500) for 3GB RAM Wi-Fi only model. Whereas the 4GB RAM Wi-Fi only model will cost you 1399 Yuan (approximately Rs 14,500). And if you’re considering to buy the LTE version, do make a note that it comes only in 4GB RAM. It shall fetch you 1499 Yuan (approximately Rs 15,500).
