Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro official renders leaked ahead of June 25 launch, confirms colour variants

Earlier in June, Xiaomi released three handsets of its flagship Mi 8, which introduced the notch. Now the brand is ready to introduce another smartphone with similar experience but in its Redmi range. The phone in question here is the Redmi 6 Pro. We recently learned that Redmi 6 Pro, Mi Max 3 and Mi Pad 4 are coming in China on June 25.

Now today, ahead of this launch event we have got the look at the device in a series of images leaked on Weibo. These are believed to be the official renders of the phone that must have been supposed to use at a launch event. They reveal the Redmi 6 Pro’s design in all glory. It further confirms certain features like notch, dual-rear cameras vertical setup, and fingerprint sensor on the rear. These images also confirm five colour variants including Rose Gold, Sand Gold, Lake Blue, Flame Red, and Black.

It shall be sporting a 5.84-inch display that will support a full HD+ resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. While the Chinese smartphone maker has switched to MediaTek processor for Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A phones announced earlier this month. But the rumour mill quotes that Snapdragon 625 might be in use on this Redmi 6 Pro.

As far as the RAM and storage go, it will come in different variants. Expect models with 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB of RAM, paired with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storage. Whereas the camera department shall mount 12MP + 5MP setup on the rear and a 5MP sensor on the front. Further, we expect it to come pre-installed with MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
