Last week Xiaomi kicked off its Redmi Note series launch event in India, where the brand announced Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro. These two handsets have been the talk of the town due to their kickass specifications and the price points. While the brands like Realme has also come up with their respective wonderful offering in the sub Rs 10,000, it is believed that Xiaomi could be up to something, yet again.
The brand could be working on to introduce yet another Redmi phone, but this time it won’t be a Redmi Note. Dubbed as Redmi 7, it is probably the successor to the Redmi 6 introduced last year. A TENAA listing, certification website in China has shared the specifications of this alleged Xiaomi handset on their website. It is more likely to be a legit list of specs, as this is a government certification website such as FCC in the United States.
Xiaomi Redmi 7 specs
Sporting a 6.26-inch HD+ display (1520 x 720) resolution, it is said to offer a 19:9 aspect ratio, which could mean a notch design. It’s unknown whether it would be a waterdrop notch or regular notch. The handset is believed to be offered in three configurations starting with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Further, the two other configs include 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. There will be a storage expansion slot offering up to 256GB storage expansion.
The Redmi 7 could be offered in numerous colour variants including Black, Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green, Purple, and Gray. The handset is listed to offer a dual rear camera setup where the primary lens could be a 12MP resolution. The selfie shooter could be an 8MP resolution. Further, the presence of a fingerprint sensor and IR blaster is confirmed in the listing. A battery capacity of 3900 mAh, which suggests 4000mAh capacity battery could arrive in it.
