Redmi flagship Smartphone - Feature Image

Xiaomi is taking things slowly with its Redmi sub-brand in China as far as the rumours regarding the flagship phone are concerned. We learned last week about the Redmi X, which was quickly debunked by the brand’s General Manager Lu Weibing. Now some new details have popped up online regarding this Redmi flagship smartphone. Let’s talk about it below.

Xiaomi Redmi flagship leaked specifications

The only new information that seems to have popped up online is the ultra-wide angle camera. And for that as well we have Mr. Weibing to thank to. He has been quite active on social media, primarily to put any rumours regarding its upcoming phone to bed. One such new information regarding the ultra-wide angle camera came up when he shared about it on his Weibo account.

The Redmi flagship is also believed to pack the features like 3.5mm audio jack and NFC, as per the report posted. The display is expected to be of 6.39-inch sporting a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution.

Rounding up the Redmi flagship specifications, it is wildly believed to pack the similar specifications as seen on the Mi 9 SE. Well at least as far as the camera setup is concerned. With a 48MP primary lens, accompanied by a 13MP lens and an 8MP lens.

If the brand is trying to bring a bezel-less display design, we may see the integration of a pop-up selfie camera. If not that maybe something else. But this Redmi flagship is likely to not sport any kind of notch design, which has been hinted as far as the leaks realm is concerned.
