Xiaomi as a brand has been quite popular for its smartphones, but, the brand decided to enter the IoT segment with smart lights, smart bands, and other products, which became instant hits for the brand. It usually launches the major IoT products in its Smarter Living 2020 event, which took place today. What are the products you ask? Let us discuss in brief.
Mi Watch Revolve
The first device to launch in the event is the Mi Watch Revolve, which is the brand’s first smartwatch. It is available in two different colours, chrome silver and midnight black, coupled with multiple straps. There is also a stainless steel casing. The display is an AMOLED panel, with a max brightness of 450 nits. To add to that, there is support for Always-on display, with the device’s display being protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
As for the display’s size, it is a 1.4-inch display. As for the fitness tracking, the watch has sleep tracking, stress level, energy level tracker. One can also check VO2 Max and there is also a special training mode, with multiple features present in it. For the sport modes, there are 10 special modes for the same. If you were wondering about water resistance, there is a max resistance of 50m. To add to all this, there is support for GPS (In the watch) and Glonass. The brand has equipped the Mi Watch Revolve with a battery life of 1-2 weeks, which can vary depending on heavy or light usage. Pricing for the same is INR 10,999, with an inaugural price of INR 9,999.
Mi Smart Band 5
Next up, Xiaomi launched the Mi Smart Band 5, which is the long-awaited successor to the Mi Band 4. It comes with a 1.1-inch Full colour AMOLED display, which also features a peak brightness of 450 nits. There are also multiple new watch faces, something that was introduced with the Mi Band 4. There are 11 sport modes, with automatic tracking. There is also a new Women’s health tracker. To add to that, there is also a new PAI tracker. The charging tech has been upgraded too, with magnetic charging. Pricing for the same is INR 2499, with the first sale on the 1st of October.
Mi Athleisure Shoes
Now, coming to some additional products, there is the new Mi Athleisure shoe, priced at INR 1499 with sales starting September 29th. The Mi Automatic Soap Dispenser is the next product, with contactless soap dispensing, which is quite nice, considering the times we are in. There is an IR sensor, with 300 ml of storage. Pricing for the same is INR 999, with availability for the same starting from today itself.

Followed by the Mi Automatic Soap Dispenser, the brand launched the Mi Smart Speaker, which is powered by the Google Assistant. There is a premium metal mesh design, with a light ring to the top, somewhat similar to the setup of the Amazon Echo. To add to that, to the top, there are some control buttons as well. There is a 12W 63.5mm driver, which is a front-firing speaker. There is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support for the same. The price of the Mi Smart Speaker is INR 3999.
Mi Smart LED Bulb
Coming to the final product, the Mi Smart LED Bulb features a B-22 base, something that Is found in most Indian households, with the Bulb priced at INR 499, and it is available from the 29th of September.
