The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 went on pre-order today on Flipkart. It started at 12PM and the phone is already out-of-stock. Only the 3GB and 4GB variants were available. The 3GB variant costs Rs 10,999 while the 4GB RAM variant will come with a price tag of Rs 12,999. The whereabouts of the 6GB version are still unknown.
Asus had some launch offers lined up for prospective buyers. Amongst them was no-cost EMI starting at Rs 917/month. At an added cost of just Rs 49, Asus bundled in complete mobile protection. An exchange offer was in place too which got buyers an extra Rs 1,000 on their old smartphone value. Besides this, Vodafone users could get up to Rs 3,200 for free.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has caught the eye of many due to the remarkable value for money factor in it. Indian customers are used to seeing this kind of value from Xiaomi. However, Asus has taken the bull by its horns by bringing the Snapdragon 636 to a never seen before price. Besides, the ZenFone Max Pro also trumps the Redmi Note 5 Pro in price and battery capacity. However, a potential weak area of the phone is the selfie shooter in the 3GB and 4GB variant. On the other hand, the Note 5 Pro despite being exceptionally in-demand remains ever so far from the grips of customers, thanks to flash sales.
The phone has been sold out within minutes and now, we can actually figure out the popularity that the device is receiving. Is it an able Redmi Note 5 Pro competitor? Let us know in the comments section below.
