There are some really high profile smartphone launches coming up in the next two weeks of March. Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Mi Mix 2s, Huawei is set to introduce the P20 series and Oppo and Vivo have launches of their own as well. However, ZTE subsidiary Nubia will also be joining the action with a launch of its own.
The Chinese brand teased the launch of a Nubia V18 device that is slated for a March 22 release. The company has already sent invites for the launch of the handset. That said, there is very little known about the mystery Nubia V18 phone. What we know for sure is that it features a narrow-bezel 6.0-inch design. But, pretty much every bezel-less device out there has that size. Nubia’s own N3 launched just a week back with a 6.0inch screen and a monstrous battery of 5,000mAh.
Availability and price
The Nubia V18 is supposed to be priced around 1000 Yuan ($158 approx.). So, this can’t the gaming phone that is said to be in the pipelines of ZTE.
With just about a week left, the handset should show its face on some regulatory websites of China. Or it might have already passed legal hurdles. We recently saw a ZTE V890 device with a 6.0-inch screen pass TENAA. There’s a possibility that it could be the same device.
