I got a chance to play around with redmi Note 5 Pro and these are my thoughts.
the phone inbuilt exceptionally well, in fact, slightly better than its other counterparts.
Snapdragon 636 is the first chip that I know of which has dual antenna support. This means that you can simultaneously turn on Wi-Fi AND Mobile Hotspot on your phone, which often proves to be very handy.
I just wish that the face unlock feature would've been done in a better way. I registered my face with my spectacles on, and immediately after registering, I took them off and tried to unlock it. It wouldn't recognise my face! Yes, it's pretty half baked at this point.
The battery life on the phone is good, but I just wish that they had finally upgraded to a fast charging brick out of the box. And also, though it didn't bother me personally, I am sure there are many of you would be bummed that this phone still uses an older micro-USB port and not a type-C one.
The cameras are fantastic. I never expected much from Xiaomi phones' cameras before the redmi note 5 Pro. I can easily say that this is one of the best shooters that you can get under 15k.
